Adobe ConnectNow is a great way to share ideas, discuss details, and complete work together — all online. Reduce travel costs, save time, and increase productivity with a web conferencing solution that is easy to access and simple to use.

With AdobeConnectNow you can use screen sharing, chat, notes, audio, and video to conduct meetings online that can be as interactive and productive as in-person meetings with up to three participants.

As per wiki "Adobe Acrobat Connect (formerly Macromedia Breeze) is software used to create information and general presentations, online training materials, web conferencing, learning modules, and user desktop sharing. The product is entirely Adobe Flash based. All meeting workspaces are organized into 'pods'; with each pod performing a specific role (i.e. chat, whiteboard, note, etc.)".

Adobe is now competing with Google, Sun, HP, IBM and Microsoft to provide applications in the cloud. Acrobat has gone live and let's hope it isn't as slow and agonizing as that all too familiar PDF.

Is Adobe Acrobat ConnectNow free? The presenter does need to sign up and install a plugin, and the free version allows for three participants. The participants only need to have Flash installed on there machine. The full version seems quite expensive, but the quality is really good.

Following are the some of the features of Adobe ConnectNow:

Unique meeting room URL

Your own personal online meeting room has a permanent URL that is easy to remember, so you'll always know where to meet online.

With just a click, enable meeting attendees to see what's happening on your screen. There's no better way to show and tell.

Video conferencing

With a webcam, you can even use multipoint video for a real in-person feel to your online meeting.

Chat pod

Send instant messages to one person or the whole group to raise questions and share ideas. Customize your Chat pod by selecting fonts, sizes, colors, and emoticons.

Screen sharing

With just a click, enable meeting attendees to see what's happening on your screen. There's no better way to show and tell.

Whiteboard

Use familiar tools to mark up what's being shared onscreen. Draw lines and shapes, drag and reshape them, add text, and save the Whiteboard as a PNG file.

Integrated audio choices

Use the microphone on your computer to speak with other meeting attendees using VoIP. Or use one of the conference numbers provided for traditional teleconferencing.

Remote control

A meeting participant can take control of another participant's desktop with permission. This is useful for collaborative work sessions and technical support.
